Western Australia Small Business Growth Grant

The Western Australian Government is supporting local entrepreneurs through the Small Business Growth Grants program — an initiative designed to help eligible small businesses access specialist advice and professional services that support growth.

Through the program, eligible small business owners can apply for a Small Business Growth Grant, which provides 50% matched funding (up to the value of $10,000) towards the cost of investing in expert advice and services to help grow their business.

What Can the Funding Be Used For?

The grant can be applied towards a wide range of professional services, including:

  • Strategic business planning
  • Workforce development and planning
  • People management
  • Marketing and communication planning
  • Digital marketing
  • Market research
  • Financial planning and performance
  • Procurement
  • Organisational governance
  • Work health and safety

  • Supply chain management and planning
  • Records and document management
  • Information and communication technology management

Note: A detailed list of eligible and ineligible services is available in the official program guidelines. For full details, refer to the Small Business Growth Grants Guidelines.

The funding is provided as a voucher and is paid directly to the service provider once services are delivered. It is not retrospective and cannot be used for past expenses.
